Attendance

Attendance

Record when staff arrive and leave, by site, and see who is present, late, on leave or absent.

Early access· P3–P8For HR, managers and employees

Agoo is in early access. This page describes the feature as it ships to early-access organisations; screens are illustrative.

Agoo attendance replaces the paper register and the queue at the clocking machine. Staff clock in at the front-desk kiosk or on their own phone, and HR sees the day build up in the console in real time, site by site.

Attendance shares one directory with visitors and bookings. The same person is a host for their guests, an employee on the attendance board, and a name on the evacuation list when they're clocked in.

What each plan includes is on Clock-in methods and Plans and limits. The number of staff you can have on attendance is 10 on Free, 25 on Starter, 100 on Growth and 300 on Pro; Enterprise is volume priced.

For HR and managers

  1. Add your people. Staff come from Console → People, by hand, by CSV import, or from your Google or Microsoft directory. Choose who is on attendance.
  2. Set up each site. In Console → Settings → Sites, check the address and draw the geofence that phone clock-in uses.
  3. Choose the clock-in methods your organisation allows. See Clock-in methods.
  4. Add shifts (Growth and above) so Agoo knows who is late and who is working overtime. See Shifts and overtime.
  5. Watch the board in Console → Attendance. Late arrivals and absences show as soon as a shift starts, not at the end of the month.

For employees

  • Clock in at the kiosk by the door, or in the Workspace app when you're inside the site. The app tells you when you're inside the geofence.
  • No signal? Clock in anyway. The punch is saved on the device with the real time and syncs when the network is back.
  • Request leave from the Workspace app and see your balance.
  • Face clock-in is your organisation's decision. It's only used if your organisation turns it on and publishes a notice saying why: either it requires face clock-in under its legal basis, or it asks for your consent. If face matching fails, the kiosk always offers a fallback. See Face clock-in.

Attendance and roll call

Everyone who is clocked in appears on the live evacuation list with visitors and contractors. Clocking out when you leave keeps that list accurate. See Roll call.
